Pastors Jacob and Tatyana Kulakevich serve as the Senior Pastors of Light For Life Church, leading with a deep love for Jesus, a steady commitment to His Word, and a passion to see lives changed by the Gospel.
Their lives are marked by a surrendered “yes” to God and a desire to build His Church for His glory. In 2026, through a Spirit-led process and with the full blessing of the Light For Life Church community, Jacob and Tatyana stepped in to lead the church.
They carry the vision and heart of Light For Life forward with humility, strength, and full confidence in the faithfulness of Jesus.
God has a purpose for every human being.
A group of brothers who immigrated to the United States from Ukraine had a desire to serve those fleeing to America from the horrors of the war in Ukraine. From a young age they have been devoted believers, continually seeking the Lord’s guidance and striving to share the Good News with their local communities and beyond.
During the difficult times in Ukraine, as many people sought refuge in the United States, the brothers realised that many of those fleeing had never come to know Christ. Their hearts were filled with compassion for those who were hurting, searching for hope, and in need of God’s love.
In February 2026, they came together with a shared vision to establish a church dedicated to serving God, bringing hope to the brokenhearted, being a light in the community, and proclaiming the goodness of Jesus Christ to the world.
Throughout history, God has chosen ordinary people — often those least expected — to accomplish His extraordinary purposes. What may seem impossible in human eyes is always possible with God. Through faith, love, and obedience, every obstacle can be overcome, because with God nothing is impossible.
Our prayer is that this church will be a place where lives are transformed, faith is strengthened, and everyone is welcomed to experience the love, grace, and saving power of Jesus Christ.
